Revival Emerging Artist Prize — Finalist Exhibition
I’m honoured to share that my painting Silent Reverence has been selected for the Revival Emerging Artist Prize, presented at Revival Art & Design Gallery in Brisbane. Bringing together a diverse selection of artists from across Australia, this annual exhibition celebrates emerging practices distinguished by originality, material understanding and conceptual depth.
Korynn Morrison, Silent Reverence, 2025
Acrylic on Panel (framed), 92 x 122 cm
Silent Reverence emerges from an ongoing meditation on the forces that shape our natural world. Nature erodes, sculpting its own masterpieces. It floods to nourish, burns to renew, and moves through an unending cycle of destruction and rebirth. Both brutal and raw, yet expansive and deeply still, it is the tension held between these polarities that continues to draw me closer.
This work reflects an attempt to stand within that paradox. To witness the terrifying beauty of landscapes in flux, and to remain open to the humility such encounters invite. In that moment of awareness, reverence is not something we manufacture, but something that arises unbidden.
I warmly invite you to experience the exhibition and encounter the breadth of emerging artistic voices shaping the contemporary landscape.
